- || So there you have it... everybody who said it would crash - YOU WERE RIGHT! (Wasn't rocket science was it). And it's nowhere near over yet... Don't buy anything unless it's discounted by at least 50%. I have bought a 4 bedroom house in the Wilbury area for £175,000 and a 3 bed on Manor Hill for a staggering £35,000 this week - and the prices are getting cheaper and cheaper. Go look and then kick the sellers very hard in the balls when you make an offer. If they say no then walk away. They'll be back to you. And if they're not, there's always another cheap house round the corner. Good luck and happy hunting... So pleased a bit of common sense has returned to the market... And as for Portslade - why buy here when you can now afford Hove? - Let's face it - it's not a great area... so why not try 60% off? -- left at Sat Jan 24 21:09:40 +0000 2009
- || Its not on here but i Sold my house to rent from Portslade for 225K in 2007, new owners have put it on the market for 239K with little or no improvement, now reduced to back to 229K. They need to get real I would not pay more than 170K for it now. Interest rates have only one way to go Our taxes will be increased Its about time houses became really affordable for everyone. -- left at Fri Jul 09 14:56:08 +0000 2010
