- || I have lived in Thornton heath for 20 years and am a professional person. It is not a dump. I have never had any problems. it doesnt have wine bars or really nice trendy shops but i can go elsewhere for those. -- left at Wed Jul 16 20:05:05 +0000 2008
- sally smith || i disagree i live in thornton heath and have a lovley 6 bed detahced house witch i aught 2 years ago for £890,000, there are nice roads in thornton heath for e.g norbury hill if you look at cheap roads that the homes are cheap the off course homes will be rubish but if you spend more money on a exspensive home you can find very nice houses in thornton hetah you just have to have enough money . -- left at Fri Jul 25 22:20:52 +0000 2008
- Vanessa || Thornton Heath itself has changed. I grew up in the area and now live in Putney. The Area has got rough around the high street and around Thornton Heath Pond. Sally is correct in that if you want something nicer in the CR7 postcode Norbury is the best area especially on the Americas estate off Green Lane and the roads by the firestation. I would not buy a house in Heath near the Tescos or around that area with the expection of maybe Ross Road. Its not a nice area anymore. -- left at Sat Aug 23 21:57:37 +0000 2008
