- Ania || Estate agents in this area appear very reluctant to advertise price reductions.However sales are negotiated with offers accepted below the asking price.Property sales in the higher price bands appear to have stalled with some properties on the market for six months or more!Properties have been overpriced in this area and agents need to price more realistically if they want properties sold. -- left at Thu Jan 10 11:45:04 +0000 2008

- Stuart || Eddy Barber is obviously an estate agent trying vainly to talk it up. The top end of the market is dead, nothing is selling. You cannot rent out a big house either. So I am faced with having to reduce price or turn down a lucrative job offer overseas. Things are most definitely on the slide. I have reduced from 700k to 620k, no takers, not even a whiff of more interest. Things are sliding faster than I am willing or able to reduce prices by. -- left at Mon Mar 10 04:02:21 +0000 2008
