  • Cheong || For those interested in buying properties in the Charlton area, look for areas near the Charlton station, in particular the ex-council houses - they are excellent value for money - much more solid and spacious than the new build. I bought mine just over 18 months ago, Barney Close 4bedroom £240k, clean, no drawing on the wall, quiet and 3' walk to rail station, and door to door to Canary wharlf 20' max (10' bus + 5' tube). A family of 4, still have one spare room for library. For the same amount of money I could only get 1/2 bedroom flat in a near road and not enough to buy 1 bedroom flat in the Greenwich vilage (Dome, N. greenwich tube)- a former dump place (chemicals underneath these block of flat, I heard. We are very happy here, convienient for work and nice road to live. Good luck as there is not many available on sale -- left at Fri Jun 13 08:24:06 +0000 2008
