  • Mark Hargreavers || Winchester is way overpriced and due a significant correction. Prices have been inflated to far by buyers from London who are now have second thoughts as there own homes in the capitcal are depreciating in value. I'm pricing in a fall of 20% over 2 years. -- left at Mon Mar 31 11:55:10 +0000 2008
  • Richard Tucker || in responce to Mark Hargreavers comment above - there is still a huge shortage of quality period properties in the Winchester area. Good houses in the desirable villages as still going for well over the asking price. Whilst London has some effect on the Winchester market it is not enough to make a huge difference. I would expect a max fall of 10% over the next 2 years. -- left at Mon Apr 28 09:12:58 +0000 2008
  • Raymond Parker || Would you buy a house in Winchester right now????? Over inflated prices, propped up by London buyers who can no longer sell there own properties in the capital. The top end of the Market in Winchester is going to take a big hit - prices are starting to come down already with up to £75K be slashed from prices. People are start to see the reality of the situation and realise they will have to chop tens of thousands off their asking prices just to get a viewing. I am selling a property and these are testing times. -- left at Tue Jul 15 08:07:43 +0000 2008
