  • Peter Woolford || I can tell you that prices in Cassiobury Park Avenue fell from 185k (typical semi) to 120k over six years (Sept 1988 to Sept 1994, or about 40%. I bought in that road in June 1994 for 80k after a 6 month haggle. Admittedly it was the worst house in the street, no 108, much improved since and occupied by someone else. As what we now see is an unfolding Depression, much worse than 88-94, I advise all estate agents and property conveyancers to seek alternative employment. -- left at Fri May 16 21:30:45 +0000 2008
